We have never been to Thailand and once we decided to this destination, we both become super excited. We split the period so that to cover more places. One of our stay was in Phi Phi Islands.

There are so many things to tell about this place! It is about the people and how they literally live from all the little things, about smiles, about crowded streets, lovely nature, the most beautiful and wildly beaches and clear waters. It is also about walking though the jungle, becoming friends with the monkeys and visiting the surrounding islands.

(You can also watch the movie on Youtube at 1080pHD resolution - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=156cnbXHww0&t=52s )

We could not get enough of this place. Phi Phi is a combination between freedom and parties till the morning and wild, tiny, gorgeous beaches. It is crowded in the center, and there is a high possibility not to have a good impression about the island if you visit it through one day excursion, but once you start to explore the island, you discover the beauty itself.

If you take the place by foot, passing through nature, you can discover some interesting beaches on the way to the famous Long Beach, the most amazing one for us was Viking Nature Beach, perfectly situated far enough away to give us a relaxing and cozy enviroment.

The Long Beach has the same uniqueness and it is yet far enough away the noise from the center. It is bigger and from this point we have started to investigate the exact place from where Leonardo Di Caprio started his adventure to Maya Bay, in his well known movie – The Beach.

Phi Phi Don needs to be explored and for sure it will leave you with nice memories. Of course, as soon as you pass thorough Phi Phi Leh, the paradise starts to have a much better image: the gorgeous Maya Bay is more way beautiful than imagined. The water and the way until Maya Bay are amazing: there is so green emerald a water I have never imagined I can see. Also, no matter if you choose to have a private tour or a grouped one, the stops for snorkeling and baby sharks will pass you to the depths of the waters.

There are so many islands and beaches waiting to be explored. Excepting Maya Bay, that was part of our dream to visit it, there was one more island that left us the sensation we will remain forever zen: Bamboo Island – it is less famous than Maya Bay, but it is simply idylic. The scenary is literally insane with that turquoise water and the white sand.

More adventures from Thailand to be shared on the next post.
